I am completely besotted with Lizzie Garrett’s Tomboy Style.  So well curated. I had been thinking for awhile that it would make a great book, the folks at Rizzoli agreed. Ms. Garrett is soon to be amongst the lauded blogger few that has a tome to accompany their on-line journal.  Bravo!  Here’s to great inspired, ideas, wishing Lizzie a huge congrats and kicking myself for not being as creative.

I received an email from Kate Spade this a.m. that had some suggestions for Mother’s Day, one being the above Twirl lipstick in the ‘perfect red’.  My own mother would not have any use for red lipstick, but her darling daughter would.  I have not tried it yet but knowing that Kate Spade has the market cornered on red enameled nails and crimson lips I am inclined to believe that it perhaps is the holy grail of red lipsticks and it should be mine.  I am now working from home and spending many hours in the company of my computer screen, I am not sure if I can actually justify purchasing a red lipstick for grocery store jaunts, but I am sure that would be so very Kate Spade of moi to don my red lips to procure dairy products, no?

 

The Tumbler dubbed Things Organized Neatly has me in a tizzy of Type ‘A’ ecstasy. Photo after photo of creatively organized items makes my mouth water with anticipation for the next image.  I shall forewarn you though that it is not a site that you can just gingerly take a peek at, it is more the type of site that you will want to sit and spend some quality time with.

Last week I inadvertently identified a small furry mammal as a lamb but was informed by the dear Mrs. Soup it was most likely a baby goat.  I felt baaaaad for the goat that didn’t get its proper fanfare so I decided to make-up for it by properly promoting the goat this week  Even authorities on cute make mistakes, it’s true.
