NEW STATIONERY STAMP DESIGNS + A GIVEAWAY!

Well, welcome back & a happy Monday to you!  This weekend went by way too fast. I was as busy as one can be living in the middle of nowhere.  I was chatting with my friend Whit the other day on the phone when she asked ‘what are you doing about friends?’ and all I could think of was a big ‘uhm’ nothing.  Note to self–Get some friends, but first on my impossibly long list of things to-do is another big giveaway.  I do have one more design to photograph from the last giveaway and yes, there is one design above that was featured in the last round, but I lost the file (gone into the ether) so I need to start from scratch.  So here’s the quickie run down–these are new designs that I need to turn into live stamp samples before I put in the shop. You will leave your name, the dates, the stamp you like and your favorite word (why not?).  If I choose you I will need to photograph your stamp, but after that it is all yours and of course this is international so I hope everyone will play along.  I will keep the contest open for one week (ending 7.23.12). Once I have all the stamps made + photographed I will be showing off your prize on the blog, that’s it!  Feel free to Pin this, email, Tweet, etc. I am not asking you to but it sure would be nice, sharing is caring, right? Good luck!

P.S. Tomorrow I am going to reveal my new complexion perfection formula!

  1. adore the top one with the anchor! my sister’s getting married in late august at our parents’ lake house in northern michigan, so it’d be pretty much perfect!

    Tracy & Andy Picmann 2012.

favorite word: a tie between “lovely” and “persnickety”

    ;)

  2. Beth & Shawn Cole – 2012

Favorite word “ampersand” (which makes me feel like I’m in a secret club, because I’ve found not everyone knows this word… Damn you, “and symbol,” and my husband and I have matching ampersand tattoos under our rings)

  3. Oh Diane a future lake wedding, nice! Beth having matching ampersands under your rings is the sweetest! Thank you both for playing (and leaving your words! Good luck!

  4. More stamp giveaways? You are so nice. :) I am hoping again I will get lucky! My favorites are the top stamp with the anchor (so cute) and the bottom right wrapped around flag. But they are all fabulous! Names: Daniel and Diana Hulme. Date: 2007. Someone already said this but my favorite word is lovely, as well! P.S. I think these would make wonderful Christmas gifts. I am going to stock up early this year!

  5. I love the circle stamp! It would be great for my etsy shop…
    Los Angeles, CA
    DaniMakes
    Est. 2010

And my favorite word is chartreuse… not only is it a gorgeous color, it just sound so elegant and fancy!

  6. Jessica Warfield

    Grant & Jessica Warfield 8/9/08

I love the scroll work stamp like the McQueens, but would be open to whatever stamp you think fits best.

    I love the word Ninjas

  7. I adore the anchor but think our first and last names are too short to look as good as it does here (Lee & Megan Wade). So I’m going to have to go with either of the bottom two. The Wades (or W), est. 2008.

I can’t think of a favorite word, so I’m going to go with my least favorite word: moist.

  8. I want the second one down on the left! I want it to say Sew a Fine Seam!! My font – learning Curve – from my blog would be awesome too! that would be just so perfect to go with my biz branding.

  9. Hi Miss B.,

again – pretty pretty what you´ve got. I´d go with the … I don´t know which one. I am aweful. But I don´t wanna jump into your work and decide. It´s for a gift – we just got our new crazy frenchie dog Egon – nickname Kamikaze (also my favorite word right now) and the breeder was so sad because he was the last and I think most adorable one to leave his little family. Sooo, I´d like to surprise Sandra with a stamp that is for her breeding. It´s called “Dreamlike Bulldogs” and was established 2012 with her first little four puppies. So maybe the Raleigh Elizabeth or the McQueens would be pretty fresh.
Enough talkin´- hoping to win. Julia

  10. torrie + matthew (est. 2010)

favorite stamp: “raleigh elizabeth” banner stamp

    favorite word: WORD.

thanks for doing these giveaways. a great way to get customers involved and market your products!

  11. Hello Miss B,

These are so good, I like them all! Although my favorite would have to be “Porter”. In my dreams it would say, L+R (instead of Chicago), STILING, 8-10-2012

I’ve never really thought of a favorite word before. This has stumped me much more than choosing a stamp. One word I tend to repeat is ‘chardonnay’ but it is usually only after I’ve been sipping it!

  12. Back in my crazy-antisocial days when I’d moved to a new town, my mum used to ask me how my ‘friendship goals’ were going and then give helpful advice like ‘Just go to a bar and stand there looking really happy and open to conversation and tell people you’re new in town’. And I was like ‘Mum, that’s how date-rape happens!’

  13. Well, I wouldn’t even know how to begin to choose. They’re all so fabulous!

Nor can I think of a favorite word. The only one that comes to mind is brouhaha . . .

  14. I really like the “Love” stamp and the “Porter” stamp. We were officially married yesterday (we eloped to our own back yard) and would love to win a stamp that says:
    Susan & Jamieson
    Bender
    Est. 2012

My favorite word is “dilettante” – because that describes me to a tee (and also my husband)!

  15. I love the ribbon one – and think that it would be amazing for a biz (well, for mine in particular) so it would read “The Handmade Event” on the 3 lines. Though it was est. 2010, I don’t think there is enough room. And my favorite word – Serendipity!

  16. Oh goodness, how to choose!

I think my favorite is “The McQueens” stamp. That ribbon is to die for.

    Ours would say –
    The Sheltons Est 2012
because we’re getting married in just under two months!

& a favorite word? I don’t think anyone has ever asked me that question. Let’s go with “punctuation” because I’m an English nerd. :)

    Thanks for the lovely giveaway!

  17. I love the anchor stamp! though our names (Erin & Jake) might be too short for the whole semicircle.

My second choice would be the hexagon w/arrows!

    Erin & Jake Rosenberg
    Est. 2012
    Seattle, WA

Favorite word? Oh so hard to choose, but I think I’d go with “constellation.”

  18. Hi, here and entry from The Netherlands (Europe).
    I love the round stamp:
    Amsterdam, NL
    Lalunn
    Est.1999

    thnx,

    Claudia Lunn

  19. I can’t decide between the anchor one and the hexagon one.

I would love to see our names:
    Raffael & Natalja
    Yay.
    Since 2012

or just for the other one:
    N
    Est 1988

My favorite word of the moment is Yay.

  20. Hello and thank you for the giveaway Miss B.!
I love all the stamps and can’t pick a favorite between the hexagon and circle.
The stamp would be for a couple of dear friends who are soon celebrating their one year anniversary of marital bliss.
First names: Paul and Olga (also known as Polga) – POLGA in the circle stamp would just be wonderful for them.
Last Initial: M – which would look quite authoritative in the hexagon, no?
They were married in 2011 and are residents of Los Angeles, CA. Favorite words are curmudgeon and defenestration.

  21. I really like the Raleigh Elizabeth stamp! I would just want it to say “CHOW” – my last name and what most of my friends call me!

    Fav word: Absolutely.
From The Office — ”I learned from Jim, if Dwight ever asks you if you accept something secret, you reply ‘Absolutely, I do.’”

  22. The simple name stamp in the straight banner is my favorite!! You could really use it anywhere!
    My name is Denise Duffin
Hubby is Bobby. Wedding year: 2009
Favorite word: Thank you (yea, that’s two words… but they are so important)

    I love all your designs {and your cute little frenchie}

  23. Whoa – hope I’m squeaking in under the deadline because these are awesome!
My name is Christy Wood and my husband’s name is John. 2004 was our year, and favorite word, hmmm, either Faith or Laughter.

I like the ribbon stamp that says “McQueens” best but fear that putting our name in plural as people have difficulty leaving an “s” off of our singular name & that might only encourage the problem. I think I like the hex & round stamps next, but they are all just lovely.
