Daniel Wellington Watch Giveaway

Daniel Wellington Watch Giveaway via Besotted Blog

Monday!  I happen to be one of those rare individuals that loves Mondays, but I have been self-employed most of my professional life, so I don’t know if that has anything to do with it (and I’ll have you know I am a pretty tough boss), but today is special because we have an amazing giveaway!  I have been seeing Daniel Wellington watches pop up all over the interwebs and love how everyone has been styling their watches, but us mere mortals usually wouldn’t be contacted on a whim to pose with a Daniel Wellington watch, le sigh, so it was with great excitement that our friends at Daniel Wellington agreed to a giveaway! The watch we chose is the St. Mawes, it’s one of their most popular designs as it should be, it’s absolutely--timeless.

In order to enter to win please answer the following question AND you’ll need to pin your favorite look (you can pin from DW’s Instagram or Pinterest) use the hashtag #besottedwithdw, we will be checking the pins/hashtags daily and re-pinning our favorites:

What would you do if you were given a few extra hours to use in your day?

Contest begins today and ends November 23, 2015.  Good luck!

  1. If I had even one more hour in the day, I’d definitely spend it focused on finishing the business plan I’m putting together so that I can finally start my dream job!

  2. If I had a few extra hours every day I would drive, fly, and bus the (relatively) short distances to see people I love – my parents, sisters, friends. There just aren’t enough hours to span the country every week like I wish I could.

  3. I would certainly have a longer, more luxurious morning. I already try to get up a little earlier to have time to read and sip my coffee, but I’d love even more time.

  4. If I had more time in my day I would definitely spend them baking and cooking, I love to do it and don’t do it enough!

  5. If I had one more hour in the day, I would do more of what I love: read books, sew and knit, walk my dog. Although, to be honest, I’d probably sleep in more too!

  6. I’d break it up to enjoy more of everything. In the mornings, I’d take a breath instead of rushing out of the house. I’d enjoy my breakfast and tea instead of speeding through it. I’d make time to call family and friends to catch them in all their different time zones. And I’d relax a bit more before bed to relax from the day and calm my brain (which needs a break)! :) Thanks for the giveaway!

  7. If I were given a few extra hours to use a day probably would spend them painting, more if those extra hours mean extra sunlight.

  8. I would spend the extra time doing fun thing with my sons, building them the treehouse they’ve been dreaming of or making a den or maybe just some extra down time

  9. If I had an extra few hours in my day I would love to say I would work out, make a wonderful meal, or spend it reading a good book. In reaity though I would probably spend it on Pinterest. #keepingitreal

  10. A few hours – Sit and savor the sunset, watch my daughter as she falls asleep, and then light a few candles and enjoy a quiet conversation with my husband. As I’m writing this, it seems that I need to make the time for these and let other things fly off into “If I had the time…”

  11. There’s nowhere I find more solitude than sitting down with a book in pure silence. I only find it peaceful when I don’t have anything emergent to do afterwards, so I would love a few extra hours a day just for that purpose.

  12. I would set aside those extra hours to be still and take a break from the busyness of the day. We often don’t give ourselves enough margin and this would allow for that.

  13. A few hours to learn new things? Hmmm… remember that post you wrote about asking about what we’d love to learn to do? I think I’d dedicate the hours to those things: guitar, sewing, language, woodworking. Sounds fun to me :) Thank you for the giveaway – I LOVE the watch. I was thinking of asking for a watch this Christmas!

  14. I would use those extra hours to learning and honing all the skills that I’d love to pick up: studying typography, learn calligraphy and eventually design my own fonts. I’ve been eyeing DW’s watches for a long time, they’re so beautiful.

  15. Sometimes, there aren’t enough hours in a day to take care of yourself when you’re too busy with everything else! That’s why if I ever had a few extra hours in a day, I would just drive off to the beach with the windows down, wind in my hair, singing my favorite songs! In addition to that, I would dip my feet into the cold waters and just lay in the sand and listen to the waves! That for me is time well spent, and it just puts everything into perspective!

This watch has been a dream of mine and I’ve had my eyes on it for the longest time, but I never had the extra money to go out and buy one, so this would mean the world! Thanks for such an amaaaazing giveaway!

  16. Such a good watch!!! This is a tough one. I would either read – or since I did actually read The Magic Art of Tidying Up, I would finally start the whole dang process and purge all the stuff I don’t use/need/love anymore!

  17. If I had a few extra hours to use in my day I would most likely catch up on some of the shows I’m currently watching! However, I’d like to think I would read more, and visit friends/family I don’t get to see often.

  18. Couldn’t resist the opportunity Tristan! Thanks for the chance to win!
With a few extra hours in my day I would take the time to finally make and savor all the incredible recipes that I’m always discovering and wishing that I had time to dive into. Maybe I’d learn some new cooking skills while at it! Yum!

  19. I’d wish to have a bit of extra time around the holiday season. Unfortunately, my job revolves around the holidays, so I would love a bit of extra time to do some baking and enjoy the season with my family!

  20. If i was given a few more hours in my day, I would use them toward getting my small business together, fitting a bit more ballet practice in, and the last of the “more hours” would be used to relax! – I think it’s important to take time out after a productive day!

  21. If I were given a few extra hours to use in my day, I’d spend it by listening and sincerely complimenting the people around me. Our ears should not be closed with the music from our earphones, neither should our eyes be glued to our phones. Instead, we should start being genuinely interested when listening to others and start noticing the simplest of things. We should never underestimate the power of time and attention because it could definitely change another person’s life. Yes, i know that there is so much to do yet so little time but we should not forget what really matters. We were put in this world to remind each other that each of us is blessed and loved. Thus, we should take time in being ‘present’ in the moment to contribute to the quality of our lives and the lives of others. Thank you for this opportunity Miss Tristan, I will never forget it if ever I win. God bless you! :)

  22. If there were just a few more hours to my day, I would call my mother. Ask her about her life and listen and laugh because I love the sound of hers. I would lay beneath the car with my father, and learn the sound of the engine and the smell of oil on callused hands. I would fall backwards on my sister’s bed and weave fantasies and daydreams in the air. And I would take my brother to the wetlands and leave messages in the dirt for the birds to find. Because it is all too easy to forget that as I grow up, my family grows older too.

  23. If I had a few extra hours, I would spend more time on my own hobbies! Between kids and work and the house I rarely get time to do the hobbies that bring me joy (reading, sewing, and drawing) and I would love more time to work on them.

  24. If I had more time in my day I would spend it relaxing and sipping tea with my older neighbors. Half of my neighbors are widows over the age of 60 and in the last 3 years we have had three age/health related passings. I would like to learn how to sit and rock (as they do) in simple stillness and to be a better neighbor. I have started wearing watches in the last two years simply to encourage stillness and reject constant contact with my phone.

  25. i would spend it either painting or photographing. two things i just can’t seem to squeeze in on a daily basis, and then maybe i’d also get an extra long run in and water my plants. ha!

  26. If I had one more hour in the day….I’d spend it teaching my inner city students the importance of eating good organic food to get their brains up and running to pass those tests….and then I’d teach each one of them how special they are.

  27. Everything I love to do! Getting my own business going, baking, yoga, refinishing beautiful chairs and a vintage tricycle, spending time with friends family and my dog, more pottery, more letterpress classes……I need more than a few extra hours!

  28. Haria muchos viajes, exude me i travel a lo and go more days to yoga and spend mote time with the family,gi to painr,a lot of thinks

  29. If I had more time in the day, I would definitely spend it with my husband. We get caught up in our work and everyday to do list so much that there is just little time left to spend together. I value this time with him high and would love to do more activities together. We are expecting out first child so it will not get easier to find time just for the two of us. Life is too short to always work, work, work. We should spend it with the people that are most important to us and closest to our hearts.

  30. With extra time would make things. Stitch together that quilt I have been designing in my head. Then I could give that quilt away to my friends or and hopeful spread some love.
