MMXII::37::EDITING A PHOTO-A-DAY IN 2012::

I do believe having my post titles be the name of the images is quite bad for my SEO and maybe misleading to my visitors. Not that I know a thing about SEO, but I do know that you are supposed to make your post titles relevant. I probably will be more thoughtful with the blog re-design.  Also, a lot of people who visit here may think this is all I do now is edit poorly photographed images, which is not the case.  I still have loads going on and I am still flapping my gums about it here. Aren’t you lucky? I got a new camera yesterday, the best Monday EVER.  It was an early anniversary gift from my husband. This year will be our 7th year together, of those 7 years we have been living together for 6 years and 9 months. I know, not what I ever want our future daughter to know (if we have a daughter in our future or son). No, I am not preggers, but I do have baby fever. So I didn’t get a baby but a camera, I am still thrilled! Wouldn’t you be?
I will be editing a photo a day for the remainder of 2012::Project MMXII, this is my ‘after’, you can view the ‘before’ here. Read more…

  1. ooooh, new toy! What did you get? I’m eyeing off an upgrade this year!?

    And also, Hubby and I have been together for 14 and a half years, married for 13 this month and lived together for about 14 years and three months.

    When you know, you know!

  2. Lol, I guess so! I am glad I am not the only coo one. I got the Canon 60D, a step up from the Rebel. I was going to do the 7D but for the extra money it wasn’t worth it for how I shoot (I don’t do multiple bursts). I shoot like I have film in the camera, very slow and few frames per shoot. I probably could have done the TSi now that I am thinking about it. The body is a little more rugged on the 60D. Of course, some day I will own a full-frame camera, some day…

  3. Merissa thank you! I downloaded the new Beta version of Lightroom 4 for free (until March 31st) and have been playing with that A LOT. I love that I can fix in a few clicks exposure problems and noise. I don’t feel comfortable with the program yet to do any creative editing in it, but it has sped up my workflow on these edits tenfold! So this was about half an hour. If I exposed correctly I wouldn’t have had to fiddle so much!
