HAND-LETTERED STAMP GIVEAWAY!

hand-lettered stamp besotted brand

Monday’s, I have to say that unlike my former corporate life I truly look forward to them now.  I also love being able to share these Bestowals with you, truth be told, I did have another one scheduled and I still hope to add it here later today.  Michelle and I have been working behind the scenes on a little pet project and I was hoping to have it ready to launch this a.m., but I am so behind.  Let me tell you growing a human takes marathon worthy endurance; to all those that have gone before me you made it look way too easy. Sheesh, if waif Kate Moss could do it, it should be a breeze for me, right?  I get winded standing up, Kate just looks like a waif she obviously is part Hercules. For those of you that carried multiples?!  You should have been awarded the equivalent of a purple heart in the delivery room, I will never look at Octomom the same way. She may be coo coo but what she was able to achieve? Not even going to wrap my weary brain around it.

So back to the bestowal!  I brought back the ‘handmade’ stamp as I have had so many requests for it that it seemed like the right thing to do.  I have been getting requests for hand-lettered sentiments which I have been doing for select clients and thought I should start adding to the shop, they will be limited edition as my lettering evolves I want to update them accordingly. I haven’t added them to the shop yet I need to photograph the samples, but I can tell you that they turned out so good, they stamp beautifully!  I am a serious stickler about my stamps leaving a beautiful impression and it can be very tricky when you are working with such thin lines. I am giving away two of the new stamps of your choice, just answer the following question by Sunday, September 8, 2013:

What is you favorite day of the week and why?

I will announce the winner the following Monday! And the winner of  the Cantoni font giveaway is Suzanna, congrats!

P.S. I also added a new monogram style, I created this one for one of the ladies at Grey Likes Nesting and I loved the way it turned out. I love me some monograms so for this week only use coupon code MONO50 to get 50% off your own custom monogram until September 9th.

P.P.S. There’s still room to join in the lettering fun this Saturday in L.A. and get to meet the very round me, I will be in the a.m. class (the afternoon class has sold out!)

  1. Right now, my fave is Sunday morning. It’s a quiet, calm time and I usually make pancakes or muffins with my toddler. We spend time together without being rushed

  2. Hard to choose one as Monday is a new start full of projects and promises when Friday means i’m almost in week-end and will soon relaxed, Saturday is usually busy but cool and sunday is the day i’m not cooking as my husband takes care of it and i can even have a nap ! In fact, i believe that every day should bring some pleasure (or at least i try to indulge myself a little one (can be the purchase of a magazine or the reading of your blog ). :-)

  3. Thursday, because the bulk of the working week is behind me and I look forward to the calmer days to come. I have also always loved the sound of the word Thursday

  4. Fridays are my favorite. I get giddy excited when my husband walks in the door on Friday, because I know that we will get to spend so much time together. All weekend! Bliss!

  5. I will always choose Thursday. I love what I do and enjoy feeling productive, so find the combination of a busy day with the anticipation of the weekend and all it holds to be lovely. It’s getting things done while dreaming about weekend adventures. It’s enjoying seeing the mood around me lighten as Friday approaches, the weekend still perfect in its possibility, untouched but so close.

  6. Has to be Sundays and especially Sunday morning when we, the hubby & Labradoodle & Schnoodle, pack up the Prius and go to the only dog friendly beach in town. Being a year round resident on Cape Cod, actually going to the beach can be a feat. We love how quiet it is in the early morning. How still the water can be and how joyous the dogs are chasing a ball in the water. Sunday can also be a work day but never the morning, that’s family time.

  7. My favorite day of the week is the Diu iath – Wednesday! In Irish it means “uncertain.” I like the uncertainty of balancing on the precipice of this middle day of the week because it can go either way, right!?

  8. My favorite day of the week is Saturday. Sleeping in a bit late, cozying up with a coffee mug all morning, going on afternoon adventures. Delightful.

  9. I love Saturday mornings, specifically – where the weekend stretches ahead of you and there’s so much potential!! I especially love the time around 10-11 a.m. … done with the gym and just loving sitting at my kitchen table looking out the window with a yummy brunch in front of me… the possibilities for the rest of the weekend are endless!!

  10. Saturdays, for sure. A day for sleeping in and not worrying about doing everything that you actually hoped to do over the weekend (that’s what Sundays after for).

  11. It may be because I currently work a 8-5, but my favorite day of the week is Friday. Not just because it’s the end of the work-week (supposedly), but because of the mood that most people are in. In general Fridays bring out the bright & happy in people, I dig that.

  12. I’ve taken Tuesdays off to be with my toddler and we don’t always have big plans but I try to follow him and not rush either of us, which makes Tuesdays some of my best days.

  13. Monday! It holds promise for the new week, and as a personal chef, all of my clients are ready for my food again after the weekend, so it sets me out doing what I love and earning my keep.

  14. My favorite day of the week is probably Saturday morning. The feeling of having the weekend at my fingertips to create art, take photographs, and gather with friends, are some of the most exhilarating things.

  15. My job keeps me the most busy on weekends so my favourite day is definitely Monday – it becomes my weekend. Once my husband goes off to his regular work hour job, I get to have a whole day for myself!

  16. It’s so hard to pick! Being a photographer and having a husband who’s a doctor, means that we don’t have a standard work week. Sometimes I work on a Friday, sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I get a weekend, sometimes I don’t. Sooo, I would say Monday, because that’s generally a day I like to keep open to spend time with my sweet daughter. Lots of cuddle time! :o)

  17. I’m gonna go ahead and say “Tuesday!” simply because the poor fellow tends to get overlooked, and I do love a good underdog story. Although, now that I mention, I see Emily chose Tuesday as well–see?! It’s moving up in the world already! :)

  18. Sunday – it’s the one day of the week that my husband usually has off from work, and I do my best to stay away from my shop on it, too, and just focus on our little family and rest – it’s a lovely close to the last week, and a fresh beginning to the next!

  19. It has to be Saturday. The start of the weekend, lazy mornings, quiet afternoons, and, usually a wonderful dinner to cap it all off!

Thank you for the fantastic giveaway!

  20. Tuesday. It’s when people are the most simple and natural entities of themselves, when you can love them beautifully, for exactly just who they are.

  21. Definitely Saturdays- getting to sleep in a bit, snuggle with my kitty cat and my husband, and enjoy breakfast and coffee on the back porch. Perfect :)

  22. My favorite day of the week is: Thursday because my husband comes home on Thursday night’s. He works in a different city — leaving at 6m on Tues and returning at 9pm on Thur — so Thursdays are always our reunion days. It is a great jumping off point for our mini-week + weekend together again.

  23. Monday is my favorite because my son was born on this day! Also, I’m a ‘start at the beginning of the week’ kind of person, in case I flubbed up on anything over the weekend. It’s another chance for a fresh start on the whole week!

  24. saturdays…

i love to have breakfast with my sweet husband and then go for long drives…tag sales, farmer’s markets, beach, walks in the woods <3

thank you for the great giveaway! and i was so happy to see that you are having a precious baby! wonderful news…many blessings to you and your family. so special!

  25. I love Thursdays because it is the day when I start planning what I’ll be doing on weekends with family. And funny enough, Thursday is also the day my older son was born.
Thank you Tristan for the opportunity

  26. F R I D A Y · Normally Friday mornings are chaotic, running around to finish everything off before the weekend, tired from the long week but still hanging in there…with one thought in my mind. The anticipation of the weekend. That´s the best part of the weekend. When the best is yet to come.

  27. Wednesday is always my favorite. It’s the day I end up scheduling big meetings, my daughter has ballet AND I end up having patience/time to make a real dinner. Tomorrow I meet with a big time client downtown and have a meal planned and ready to prep.

  28. I love Saturdays because I am free to do anything I want like: sleep in, make yummy pancakes without the rush, clean the house or do nothing at all. Go shopping or do something fun. I always look forward to my Saturdays!

  29. Thursdays. I don’t teach Fridays. Instead I spend Friday ay Starbucks with friends doing research. So Thursday means I have 3 whole days before I am behind again. Thursdays give me the illusion of time.

  30. Friday! I love the giddiness I feel that Saturday will follow. It is time to kick back a bit. It is sort of the opposite of the Sunday night feeling

  31. Sunday.
Sunday is the day I get all to myself. I have two small children with A LOT of energy. Someone is always hanging on to my ankles! My husband takes the boys and I get to sit for a moment and THINK about WHATEVER i want. Priceless! ;)
