  121. I am obsessed with this!!! So beautiful! “She said she usually cried at least once each day not because she was sad, but because the world was so beautiful and life was so short.” I will also share on instagram!

  122. It’s so hard to choose one since I’m so into quotes, so I chose one that is the most meaningful to me.its a quote from Winnie the Pooh, about confidence. I’m a very introvert and not confident person that thinks a lot, so reading it acts like a reminder for me to believe in myself, to trust myself, that I’m stronger than I think I am.

“If ever there is tomorrow when we’re not together… there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we’re apart… I’ll always be with you.
    A.A. Milne”

  123. My favorite quote: “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.”
    ― Dr. Seuss

  124. ‘Dance like no nobody’s watching…’ was on a birthday card given to me 12 years ago – I imagined this sentiment with hysterical delight! I have included below, the full version to what I was given (several people have been credited for writing this and there are slight variations on the words and order).

‘Dance like nobody’s watching; love like you’ve never been hurt. Sing like nobody’s listening; live like it’s heaven on earth.’

  125. Ah! I love this. My favorite quote: “She believed she could, so she did.” – R.S. Grey, Scoring Wilder

  126. Have courage and be kind. – from Cinderella the movie. I always tell it to my young son. And I love that he’s been taking it to heart, on the playground even if he’s speed-running he would stop when he sees someone fall down and help him/her get up.

  127. One of my favorite quotes is “I can’t go back to yesterday because I was a different person then.” from Alice in Wonderland.

  128. Hi everyone! And thank Besotted so much for this wonderful giveaway! Reading everyone’s quotes I feel so refreshed and inspired. I remembered this quote on a billboard I saw on my trip to Kyoto, “やさしい心はあいさつから” – literally means “A kind heart starts from greetings”. I did greet people more after that. Cheers!

My fingers are crossed for this gorgeous giveaway! Thanks. ~ Jane

  130. I am a military spouse so I always look for patriotic quotes. I always look for positive quotes during my husband’s deployments. This is by far my favorite because it is a simple but meaningful prayer that I have on occasion quoted:
    Dear Lord,
Give me the greatness of heart to see the difference between duty and his love for me. Give me understanding that I may know, when duty calls him he must go. Give me a task to do each day, to fill the time when he’s away. And Lord, when he’s in a foreign land, keep him safe in your loving hand. And Lord, when duty is in the field, please protect him and be his shield. And Lord, when deployment is so long, please stay with me and keep me strong. Amen.

  131. “We were together, I forget the rest” -Walt Whitman

I think of it as an appropriate reminder in the age of the smart phone to put that thing down and spend quality time with loved ones.

  133. Here in the Los Angeles area traffic can be a real issue. So this quote I saw on a bumper sticker makes me smile:
“There is no traffic in the extra mile”

  134. I keep on coming back to this one:
And still, after all this time, the Sun has never said to the Earth
    “You owe me.”
Look what happens with love like that.
    It lights up the sky.

  135. “I’m not very good at being alive. Sometimes I despair of ever mastering it, getting it right. When I’m old, perhaps.”
― Tanith Lee, The Silver Metal Lover

  136. “My bounty is as boundless as the sea,
My love as deep; the more I give to thee,
The more I have, for both are infinite.”

    -William Shakespeare: Romeo and Juliet

  137. “You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You’re on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who’ll decide where to go…”
― Dr. Seuss, Oh, The Places You’ll Go!

  138. I love so many quotes, but this one I need to remember quite often:
‘Have no fear of perfection, you’ll never reach it.’
    Salvador Dali

  139. The quote I remind myself of almost daily and that never fails to motivate me to action is:
“Start where you are, use what you have, do what you can”
    – Arthur Ashe

  140. “You special, miraculous, unrepeatable, fragile, fearful, tender, lost, sparkling ruby emerald jewel, rainbow splendor person. It’s up to you.” – Joan Baez
