Ah, our last day! I can’t believe we were able to keep up with 12 full days of giveaways, we must have screws loose to try to add a 12 day giveaway in the middle of the busiest time of year, but oh what fun it was, no?   6. My roommate and I have named “You and I” by Ingrid Michaelson our theme song, and whenever it comes on we drop everything — even if we are stressing over finals — and proceed to sing and dance.

  20. All of the made up songs that my husband and I made up using my son’s name. :) Sometimes one of us will just be randomly humming one of them.

  25. Rod Stewart’s Do You Think I’m Sexy? My Dad broke out in dance in a department store once while singing this to my Mom. Hilarious.

  27. Every time I hear the song Drops Of Jupiter by Train it makes me smile – I love singing it and I get super into it. :)

  32. There are so many! My hubby and I just made a “Happy” playlist to play for our students, but there’s just something about Jackson 5’s “I Want You Back.” Surprisingly, all my super-young students who weren’t even alive when this song hit the charts love, love, love this song, too! :)

  34. Love On Top by Beyoncé! In college my roommates and I would put it on and dance to it in the morning while getting ready for class. No matter how tired we were or how late we had stayed up studying or how badly we’d rather NOT go to class, Beyoncé would always make us feel like the day was ours for the taking.

  37. Butterfly by Rajaton, hands down. I just love the dreamy sound — and the fact that it’s a cappella only makes it so much better. We used to sing it in school, and it’s just such a pretty song!

  38. “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” always brings a smile to my face. Oh and “You Are My Sunshine” is a favorite as well.
